Discovery in Cabinets of Curiosity: Workshop Series
Content:
Discovery in Cabinets of Curiosity is an integrated version of the five children's workshops we have designed so far, woven together in a structured narrative that complements and follows each other. This content, suitable for elective primary or middle school club courses, Summer Schools or Semester Schools, is a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) application. In other words, it involves an interdisciplinary and practical structure at the intersection of the fields of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.
Children who participate in the Discovery in Cabinets of Curiosity program will have thoroughly explored the books Tracing Heritage in Konya and A Day at Çatalhöyük through their complementary curricula and will have taken part in a Çatalhöyük site visit supported by the play-based structure of the Çatalhöyük Education Kit. (Note: An option without the excursion is also available.)
