Museum Experience Design
At Studio Cultia, we design child- and youth-centred, gamified and experiential learning experiences for museums and exhibitions.
We adapt adult narratives for younger audiences and develop children’s audio guides, gamified visitor experiences, school programmes, workshops, and pre- and post-visit discovery packs.
Our aim is to transform a museum visit from a one-off experience into a meaningful learning journey that begins before the visit and continues long after it ends.

The Educational Kit designed by Studio Cultia, together with its accompanying gamified visitor experience, is provided free of charge to local schools by the Ayazma Association.
At the museum, the experience is facilitated by an archaeologist and museum guide trained by Studio Cultia, using specially designed game materials and hands-on activities also developed by Studio Cultia.

Studio Cultia designed a gamified museum experience at the National Gallery, combining art history, curatorship and conservation. Children solved puzzles to discover paintings in the “Clue Hunt” game and designed their own exhibitions in the “Be a Curator” activity.
In the “Be a Conservator” activity, children explored different types of damage to artworks and discovered invisible markings using UV light pens. They took the pens home to continue the experience through secret messages and discovery games.
Industrial Heritage-Focused
Museum Experience Design:

Studio Cultia designed a three-stage learning experience for Beykoz Kundura, focusing on the preservation of industrial heritage. Beginning with a guided museum tour, the experience continued with the “Kundura Detectives at Work” workshop, where children explored the transformation of the former shoe factory and the importance of preserving industrial heritage.
At the end of their visit, children received the “From Kundura to My Home” discovery pack, extending the learning experience beyond the museum through conservation experiments, digital games, and storytelling activities inspired by oral history recordings of former factory workers.
Children’s Audio Guide Design:

Studio Cultia developed a children’s audio guide for DEM Museums’ TIMEWALK exhibition in London, adapting the existing adult narratives for younger audiences. Designed for children aged 8–12, the guide transforms complex historical content into an engaging journey shaped by curiosity,
imagination and discovery.
